Sunflower Festival

So at the tail end of it, February 20th, we learned about a sunflower “festival” about 15 minutes from our house. This was definitely a one of a kind festival because it was… not so festive. I read online that other people were able to buy a bunch of sunflowers for only 300 yen, but we had no such luck. I also read that there was a vendor or two present, also no luck there. We took about 15 or so minutes walking around a VERY muddy sunflower field and then decided it would be better to leave before we slipped in the mud! Too bad I didn’t have my trusty sunflower hat to wear in the field! These are for you Mom and Grandma!!

Aquarium…again =D

On February 12th we took another trip up to the Churaumi! This time we were accompanied by Nick, Ariel, and Mike. We also made a stop at Pizza in the Sky after our aquarium visit. Here are some of the pictures we got!

I think awkward pictures are Josh’s specialty. The bottom six pictures are from Pizza in the Sky. It has an absolutely amazing view that I ,of course, forgot to get a picture of. Above that you see a picture of a bunch of cars. Guess who the one pulled in normally is, US! Everyone here loves to back their cars in, I couldn’t help but take that picture. Also I absolutely adore the picture of the turtle stalking Josh, it cracks me up!!
