Forms…Forms…and more FORMS!!

We are well on our way to getting all of our information set for Okinawa. We applied for our no-fee passports and went to medical. No fee passports were much less stressful than I thought it would be although Josh’s may not go through due to a menu being copied onto his birth certificate. HAH. We ordered more copies of our birth certificates because we also need to apply for a regular tourism passport. Whenever we went to medical we got the runaround, of course! You go to one desk, they tell you that you need to go elsewhere, so you go there. They also tell you that you’re wrong and need to go visit some woman. Get lost on your way to find her tell some other woman what you need she also says that you need to see that woman. You finally find her office and guess what! You didn’t need her, you needed the man next door to her. This man then talks upwards of an hour about how he just took some test and his brain is fried. He then gives you a BOOK to fill out and have signed. I still need my immunization records and my dental approval next Monday before I can even get my health check off. Lots of fun stuff to do still!

I’ve been checking out all sorts of neat things to do once we get to Okinawa. The aquarium seems to be the highlight and will probably be our favorite. There’s also a butterfly conservatory a cactus…garden, not sure what to call it. There is a zoo there, but I don’t think we will be visiting that too often. I saw a video of it and it looks terrifying. It looks like zoos that they show on TV where the animals are literally in cages. I’m not sure that I could deal with that. There are also a lot of vacation packages to other countries planned. I hope that we can do a few of those while we are over there. I’ll leave you with a video clip of the aquarium i found. I just cant wait to stand before this tank. =)
