Safe and Sound

The typhoon was nothing to worry about, the winds didn’t seem nearly as bad as they forecasted. It was kind of a bummer, but I’m glad everyone is safe and that’s the important part. Josh took down our satellite dish, because we had heard before that we needed to in the event of a typhoon. And with the winds forecasted we wanted to make sure that we didn’t cause damage to anyone elses property. Josh has been back at the range, he went back Tuesday night after the typhoon had passed. I guess just like in the US, weather forecasters are just about never reliable. I’m glad that we took some precautions though. Hopefully this weekend we’ll be out and about and have some fun stuff to tell you guys about. Josh’s friend Chris Calamari just arrived on Island last Friday and has been stuck on base all of this time! So hopefully we’ll be able to get him out and show him how awesome Okinawa really is!! I will be glad to get Josh back too!! It’s kind of boring being a housewife whenever your husband doesn’t come home at night. Hope everyone is doing well, I’ve heard the Carolinas are going to see a hurricane soon. Be safe!
